The bullet stops just before D’wavoire’s forehead and falls to her feet. She throws her hammer at the gangster who took the shot and pins him to the wall. With her other hammer in hand, she takes a flurry of swings, connecting with heads, knees, chests, and faces. Once all the bodies were scattered around her, she walks over to the pinned criminal and pulls her hammer off of him. Merging the two with her magic, she creates a great hammer.
“Remember, Partner. We’re the good guys. We can’t go around killing people,” Daniel says, walking into the bar and using his magic to wrap the wooden floor around her would-be victim.
“I am capable of controlling my strength, Daniel.” Daniel chuckles.
“Oh, sure you are. I’m sure Detective Bagley would disagree.
“That was one time, Daniel.”
